Description Model: Markus

First of 3 for my first post-apoc set. Some may remember when I had a stock account, I filled my self into the image of Richard Randel. Basicly the quick and ugly is that Randel was the lead character in a small set of short stories I never compleated in an after the bomb America. Randel had the fortune of surviving the blast and the plauge to follow. Finding a 1940's bomb shelter in the Nevada desert, Randel's life became all about survival and the mistrust of others in his mission to still be standing when the world sorted out its mess. To do this, he truly believed that he could let no living person into the shelter on risk of sickness or god forbid the plauge... or a shank to the gut in the night. The desperation of the human nature in others as well as himself was a frightening thing. The three stories that I may still one day write chronical an attack on the shelter by plauged mauraders, Randel finally breaking down and letting someone inside... and finally a journey outside the shelter for supplies.

The world doesn't put itself back together in his lifetime.

Very proud of this one guys, hope your into it! I'm sure you'll admit that Mark is by far a better and more convincing Randel then this skinny photographer.

Great, the gasmask dude in front of an American flag. Crossed arms. Fits your story.

I'm loving this shot, Damian. The lighting is amazing and dim, fits perfect with the model and the backdrop. The composition is great!

Wow, this is like Bruce Springstein, Born in the USA in an alternate earth/ nuclear war format.

You know, for some reason I always thought they should have had a Fallout game up in Alaska...they could allow the player access to vehicles, land/sea/and air, kind of like the direction they were going somewhat in Fallout Tactics, but without the hit to the roleplaying, throw in some carwars type rules, make it so one can scrap enemy vehicles and get upgrades..also in Alaska you have have mutated yeti-like creatures...

Chimp... err, i mean Mark is so easy on the eyes, eh?

Great shot. Lighting is perfect, love the concept, the whole dirty, grungy look with a torn flag as a backdrop... +fav.

Yeah, gasmasks/Flags and post-apoc go together like peanut butter and jam but thats half the fun of the genre! People imitate it rather poorly too often so I had to take a swing at it. I'm glad you like it.

Wow . . .The first thing I noticed were those sexy arms. Those arms look wonderful. *growl* That manly chest and those dirty arms really make the real meaning of Anarchy. I myself am obsessed with anarchy. The pose and the mask makes him seem like a trouble maker . . .I love bad boys. . . .and the flag gives itself full meaning against this anarchist photography that you did perfectly well. And that's all I have to give you in my report.

His pose and your lighting work very well. But if you step him about two feet back and have the tattered flag filling the entire frame, your image will have more punch. This will also keep the tear in the flag from looking like something sticking out of his helment.

I'd almost suggest stains on the wifebeater, but I'm not sure they'd add anything.

Some things here I very much agree on, somethings not so much. The angling of the flag was purposfully done. I didn't want the photo to be compleatly dominated by it, like a flag wallpaper... but instead wanted to hit home the 'hanging' feeling. The rips on the other hand I very much not only see your point on but recognized myself. Not a big drawback, but I don't like how the big rip melds with the shadow of his helmet either.

Thanks for the intellegent critisism!

The lighting is awesome D.
I love the reflections on his shirt and the little wrinkles on his chest on his wifebeater.

This is a great image. Very awesome
