I was taking a bunch of pictures for reference in my Pyramid Head Tutorial, and decided to take a new ID picture as well
. Unfortunately you can't really see all the details in this picture, such as my Orphaned Land shirt and gigantic pants, but the Pyramid head and violin are there 
. Which btw, I know I'm holding the violin wrong, but I was just trying to keep from dropping it on my hardwood floor! That would've been bad. But yeah, I hope you guys like it And thanks to my brother for taking the picture

What kind and quality is the violin?
And I have been playing about 7 years!
I'm making a Pyramid Head costume, maybe I should sit down in front of my piano, violin, or guitar with it! That would be radtastic.
Anyway, love the violin! 5 years is great, it's so fun [if challenging] to play.

It's a 2005 Scott Cao 4/4 violin, and retails at $500. Sounds pretty good for a student violin, and seems to have a slightly more dominant D string. I used it for about 1½ to 2 years, and it only has minor wear. If you're interested, I'd be willing to part with it for $250 (I'm up for bargaining), and can get it cleaned and restrung beforehand. Also if you'd like a sound sample, feel free to let me know.
Very awesome! I started in college and have been studying privately ever since. Plus I play in the college symphony, played in a few bands, and play at church sometimes (great performance practice). But yeah, I absolutely love playing, though it can be a challenge at times! I performed Mendelssohn's Concerto in E minor last winter, and am to the point in my etude curriculum where I have to trill both double-stop notes and such. Not fun!
If you ever need tips, ideas, or anything else about building PH helmets, let me know! I've built a few now myself and have learned much along the way, plus I have a good amount of production photos that I often send on request to other PH enthusiasts.

That's incredible, I mostly played it as a hobby, my violin teacher is the concert master for the Mormon Tabernacle Orchestra, I learned a lot but unfortunately have been to buried in studies to continue taking for the time being. I only played in High School and Jr. High Orchestra's, and also sometimes in church ha! I just play whatever my teacher really throws at me, hopefully when I have more time I can improve a little more!
I most certainly will! I have watched a few videos on Youtube about it as well so hopefully it comes out looking as good as others haha. Being female though I am going to have to have to go full aproned PH, haha but that's alright. I may like to see those pictures, that would be a good way to get started. My dad owns a paving company so I am hoping to get the guys in his shop to help me with some minor welding of thin sheet metal for it, who knows haha.

Thanks! You can actually see out if it fairly well, except for a big blindspot right in front of you, but you can pretty much peek your way around it.

haha, that's okay. Paganini was basically the greatest violinist to ever live, and was also rumored to have gained his skill by selling his soul to the devil. He's was a very fascinating guy (even if you aren't a musician), I suggest you read up on him sometime
