Wonderfully done. Nice use of color. Very nice and simple composition. Effective. Some things to consider should you do a similar concept might be to add some more shadows to darken the skin that faces away from the sun for added contrast. Add more of the small butterflies for again contrast (between the main figure) and a sense of movement. I would even deepen the shadows cast from the trees on the ground and think of adding some sunlight rays from above.

Thanks for the wonderful comments. I was going for serenity. Lilypads seem to project that. Probably bec they only do well in calmer waters.

I think I like this one the best of the two. Which is a bit surprising since green is my least favorite color. Perhaps, for me, the blue one is too blue, too cool, while this seems more varied colorwise and a bit warmer. Both are great images, and the hands and feet are so very well done.

As much as I absolutely LOVE blue... this one is better. The bluer one can be seen as maybe a night version, but something about it seems too awake to work like that.
