Description
A drawing I made after a postcard of lovely Jiufen (九份), Taiwan. Jiufen's one of the few remaining cities in Taiwan that are still fully in Japanese style after it sort of disappeared off the radar after the Japanese left. But it was rediscovered and became a popular tourist hotspot, and to this day a big part of the population of Jiufen speaks Japanese instead of Chinese, Taiwan's official language. I made this drawing before actually going to Jiufen myself, so when we did go there, and accidentally stumbled upon the A-mei teahouse (it's the building in the picture) we had to get tea there. I had tea in my drawing. It was awesome
