As you can see he never replies, but that's probably because of how busy he is.

The link that was posted he mentions started as a "speedie." In an interview [link] though he mentions it can take upwards of a week for a single painting.
I think the key idea to keep in mind is that the length of time it takes probably varies according to composition, detail, and deadlines.
