i love the technique used in this picture. it's different to what i usually see - i love how much emotion is in this picture too.

This is beautiful...very moving. The positioning of the mother and child on the paper is perfect with their pose. Absolutely beautiful work!

Very nice effects. I'd be interested to know how you got them! If I have one small crit, it is that her lips seem a bit solid and plain, compared to the very textured shading of the rest of it. Nicely framed and captured, though. Good to see!

I certainly like the style and technique used in this painting, which seems to set this picture apart from the rest. The composition is excellent, as exhibited through the pose and expression of the woman and her child.

Nice work. I feel the compostion works really well for this piece. I really like the expressive quality of the portraits as well.

Oh wow, I haven’t seen this technique used in a long time! Really well done! Love the various tones and markings that make this image unique. Also, the comp is really nice and makes for a more dynamic image. I wish I could see the eyes in both mother and child a bit betterβ€”but it’s a nitpick.

Well I can't do advanced criticism I'm afraid because I never tried this technique, but I will say the look on the woman looks very realistic and I guess you wanted to achieve a dramatic effect with the b&w,congrats.

The realism you have been able to obtain with a print is outstanding!

You have a very unique style, but it conveys emotion nicely.

Really good work, I love the black and white, and the technique you used. I think their eyes dissapear a bit this way but there's still a lot of expression, so very nice.
