Description
For those of you who don't know, Glostik has been a character of mine for a long, long time... longer than any of my other characters.He wasn't created to part of the whole "sparkledog" phenomenon. He's brightly coloured and weird because he's just a visual representation of happiness for me. Drawing him used to make me happy, hence all of the colours.
Although occasionally I did draw him in less happy situations, which were indicative of my mood at the time.This is a kind of reference for him, I guess, because although I hardly draw him now - I don't much do the "wolf scene" thing - I still have a soft spot for him.

Gotta do/draw whatever takes your fancy else it just wont have as much spark as something forced. Or that's how I view it anyways

True that! I can't force myself to draw things, I get so frustrated and just turn out garbage. Thankfully I love what I do... makes it a bit easier. 
I want to draw Mytola and Glo together one of these days, they have, after all, been friends for many many years.

I've kinda reached a point where I feel awkward about anything I draw, that it's just not good enough and I mean good enough by my own standard, however I think I am subconsciously comparing myself to others, which in itself is a stupid and pointless exercise in self-doubt.
There was a great "stages of artistic development" type drawing that somebody had submitted that I came across a while back, it listed the cycle in which all artists go through before accepting their own skill/style. Half my problem is procrastination, I *want* to do these things but end up pushing them aside for other things

It is pointless, only because the only way that I feel it works is if you do it for love, you know? You are most certainly good enough! I remember your art, I always loved it.

There are worse things to get in trouble for 
I get the urges too, a weird compulsion to just draw something, to create... They are few and far between and often it's (like you) during the process of something else that requires my attention
I did feel inclined to draw Mytola and Glo after reading your comment, got a sketch at the moment - something good came out of moaning! xD <33

hehe I really like the way you did is fur. it's so fluffy and colorful. nice job on his tail. his head and cute muzzle are pretty nice too. great job sweet ^^
