it depends on how you are planning to release the book. Is it for commercial use? Are you going to sell the book in any way? If you are expecting to make money off the book, using my art on the cover, then i would require some sort of compensation. But if you are planning to publish the book for people to read for free, like putting it online etc, then you have my permission to use the image.
