Aractres are Female Only, because thats the gender of the Black Widow that looks like that.
Evolves from Ariados in some unknown (even to me) method. I'm not sure how to evolve her, but i kinda want it to do with Breeding and something to do with the fact that Female Black Widows eat their mates. Prolly not as extreme as eating her mate but something relating to Breeding and their Mates.
I came up with her while playing Pokemon (duh) and watching James and the Giant Peach, the cool Spider lady chara. I started thinking that Ariados had some very crappy stats when comparing her to the other poison types I use (the only reason I kept her cuz she was shiny) so I also wanted to boost one of my favorite Pokemon's stats.

Maybe if you breed this gal, the male Ariados will 'faint' and all of the stats will be decreased a bit permanently or gain an ability 'Terrorised' where sometimes it won't attack due to fear due to it's previous breeding with this one

Nice work! I have a Black Widow Fakemon that I discarded because it's hard to figure out how she'd evolve from a basic spider [not Ariados, BTW, so we really have different versions of this Black Widow]. I mean, these female spiders eat their mates. You can't tell children that their small spider will evolve if it will eat another spider, so meh.

I've kinda scrapped any perceptions I used to have about keeping Pokemon "kid friendly." I mean Parasect is based on a parasitic fungus that takes over the brain of Cicadas (you dont exactly tell the kids "hey when this cute little mushroom carrying bug evolves the mushrooms grow into its brain and take over its body)

Yeah, Parasect is crazy, its mushroom's killing it slowly but surely. It's just that a Black Widow's killing is, well, instant.
Maybe one day, I'll figure out how to make mine evolve. So, I'm reconsidering my Black Widow Fakemon.
