The Canso must be one of my earliest airshow memories, I remember somehow ending up at the Koksijde Airshow in the late 1980s (probably 1988/89), while I was still young at the time (and one of two airshows I don't have any pictures of, oddly) I still remember both the Canso 'providing shade' to the crowds, and the Westland Sea King demonstrating her SAR capabilities to the crowd (this was post-Herald of Free Enterprise as reference was made to the disaster).
