Bam! Josh and I realized we had time for a Supergirl shoot with my new, remade costume. Version 3.0 is the best yet!I also used a different wig, just to mix it up, but I'm not digging those bangs. I'm thinking of picking up a new one that's more Phil Noto-inspired (seeing as my cape was signed by him...)
Also might make a shorter skirt. We'll see.

Love this, Jenn! Personally, I think you should use your usual Supergirl wig, because it just fits the character and, more importantly, you.
However, I think you should look into either making or getting some shoes/boots that have a good sole on them. That way, you'll have more support for the arches in your feet as well as better foot protection and no worries on the spandex tearing. I might just take a stroll through eBay right now.

Haha, yeah, these boots are two years old and while it doesn't look it in pictures, they're REALLY showing their age in person, and they have zero support at all. Seeing as this last photoshoot was their last, I'll be looking into making better boots with a better sole, but still without a heel, because fuck heels on Supergirl costumes, haha.

Nicely done. The bangs on the wig do look a little off but not that bad. I'd like to see a standing shot to see just how much shorter that skirt needs to go (although there is no such thing as too short when it comes to skirts).

Haha, yeah. It's an old wig, and the bangs just did not want to behave!
The skirt is made from the same pattern as the old one, so it's pretty short, I just think it would be more flattering if it was shorter and more full.

Nice. Then you should totally make the new skirt and then post a side by side of the two so we can see the difference. The top looks like it turned out great. Did you make the symbol from scratch and if so how?
