As a small and quite young artist, it is natural for me to feel as if my say in critiquing is quite insignificant, but I will step out of my boundaries once again for this magnificent piece. The characters look adorable and everything gives off a positive vibe. But, (here comes the negative part oh boy) you could work on the hearts. It looks as if the hearts are just on the shirts themselves, and we see the nervous redhead holding his heart, as if supporting it, but Jonathan is not holding his heart, giving it the look that it is implanted on his shirt itself. The expressions are executed very nicely, and are quite easy to tell that the characters are feeling something. The background could use a little help, though. The school building looks quite unnatural and the window looks like a square pretzel. The characters are the main focus, so the eye rests on them solely. The shoes are a part of the characters, and it is quite easy too see that there is little to no detail on them, and the intense blur could be held back a bit so we can at least see the details on the shoes. The gap from Sherwin's neck and the tree makes it look like he has a drop of sweat on him, and unless that is what you were going for then it should be changed to the same color as the tree. Overall, it is a marvelous piece, and I cannot wait to see more of both of yours artworks! I know that most of these points could lean to one person more than the other, but overall it is an extremely good piece, and I will defiantly be watching you both for more of both of your amazing art!
