Thanks! And it doesn't really matter which OS version you have.. apply wallpaper + icons and widgets and its done. All you won't get are the notifications, everything else is okay

Gave ParanoidAndroid a go last night and it's pretty good! But then I tried the latest cm9 and now I just don't want to go back!

Oh good, I'm reading excellent feedback to the latest nightlies in the discussion thread, think I'll switch too in a week or so. Honestly the tablet/hybrid features are quite good in paranoidandroid but the screen size and resolution make it a headache to use outside of the house. And I'm also hoping CM9 gives me slightly better battery life, its decent in p.android but feels like it can be better.

The best battery life I've ever had is admittedly from the stock samsung ROM... :/ but I'm hopeful for CM9 to get even better, it's not too bad right now anyway. You won't regret installing it, pretty much everything works smoothly, and I've not had any FC's or freezes so far!

I'm getting a day's worth of battery on paranoid with an average of 4.5-5 hours of display time! Only changed the kernel, tweaked a few settings and I think I'm going to hold the CM9 flash for now.
