She has embraced the entity of Atabeira; βThe Primary Being of the pre-Hispanic people of the Antilles bore five names other than Atabei: Attabeira, Momona, Guacarapita, Iella, and Guimazoa. She was served by a messenger, Guatauva, and by the hurricane goddess Coatrischie. Little is known of her rites, although she was recognized as a form of the earth goddess by the Antillean people, whose culture was such that invading Spaniards called the women "amazons" and said that they lived alone and engaged in war. In some areas, the women even spoke a different language from the men of the same group.βRelated content

well we talked about this particualr piece online, and you know my coments, this is one of your best in pencil work, thought yes the faces is a bit off. but other than that. its excellent.

This is gorgeous pencil work....I love the attention to detail in the outfit, the shading, and anatomy...really gives this a pro-grade feel. Great character design and description as well. Very cool pic!

me gusta, la linea es muy limpia, muy buen trabajo, me da la impresion, que los ojos estan muy arriba, tambien, si usted se da cuenta, el hacha de piedra muestra una perspectiva, mientras que la mano que la agarra muestra otra, me parece que la perspectiva del hacha esta correcta la mano debe adquirirla, aparte de eso me parece que hizo un muy buen trabajo con esta pieza

nice work on ther body... i can see very little folts, which is very good.
i might point out that you might whant to start focusing on heads. the lip structure and the hair are very good... but i think the eyes are a little high up, and the facial structure could use a little more shape in it.
however, you've done it on a small scale, so you've done very well to get in that detail
it's nice to see some straight forward pencil work from you... so we can see what the images start off like, before you CG them.
