Amaterasu, goddess of the sun and mother of all.This is some fan art of the ABSOLUTELY AMAZING game called Okami. You may have heard of it. :3
Anywho, this is my first time drawing fan art for a video game, as well as using Corel for an art project. The kanji says "Amaterasu" but this was my first time with a caligraphy pen, so sorry if it didn't turn out all that well. And even though Okami is supposed to be focused on painting, I used a charcoal setting for this.

You know I have always wanted to play Okami but I never got around to play it, but even though I never played it I could spot who it was at an instant from looking at other pictures. I think it's really swell

Thank you! Yes, she's very easy to recogize. But you really need to play that game, it's a real treat! I got it for Christmas this year and I've been glued to the TV since then. I would definately rate it as the best game I've ever played. It's a great change from all those shooter/war games.
