Description
I had a request made about painting some owls. I had a hard choice, but in the end, I chose the Barn Owl. Why? Cause they are cool and highly adaptive and a farmer's best friend.The colors just started happening when I began building up the background. "Just a little blue here to make that orange pop..." lead to this instead. Kinda like it turned out. Suppose I can put this under "happy accident".

Miss archaeology, haven't been a field since before I graduated. Been unemployed til October where I finally got a job as an editorial assistant. So I am doing that and beginning to make my way as a freelance artist when I am not in editorial. So it's good, but not quite what I had in mind.
