Taken from the classic 1970 movie Kelly's Heroes.Donald Sutherland's hippy tank commander is a great performance, and was a joy to draw.
Early drafts of my piece included the full quote,
"Why don't you knock it off with them negative waves?
Why don't you dig how beautiful it is out here?
Why don't you say something righteous and hopeful for a change?"
to which Moriarty replies

I Love Kelly's Heroes ,It's kinda like a World war II story, with 60's oldies but goodies, Can you draw a portrait of Oddball, Peter Pan and Jane, having lunch at a French Cafe ,while Oddball asks his Seargent ,in need of 60-feet of bridge.
Peter Pan and Jane are from Disney's WWII movie,"Return to Neverland. I own the DVD of RTN and a video cassette of "Kelly's Heroes, Perhaps Disney and MGM would make "Peter Pan3: Peter and Jane meets Kelly's Heroes" in which Peter, Jane and Kelly's men would compete with Captain Hook in a race to get the gold bars stashed in a bank in Clarmont, France, worth 16,000,000 Pounds in British currancy. and Oddball is from Haight-Ashbury in San Fran. that'll be a groovy movie.
