the recent drawing of Saria got me thinking of how I would like to draw “regular” Fairies in the Zelda world, but I couldn’t decide for one way so I ended up not giving her one
“Wild”, using flowers and leaves to cover themselves. More "Mystical” ones, with their clothes being part of their bodies. "Clothed” in tiny outfits, a little dress, pants or more "typical fantasy” outfits. Then again it could also go bare and featureless
Got any suggestions for other options to draw fairies?

The one in the middle is definitly more Zelda like. Still, I think the design for all of then are pretty neat. Great work as always.

Yeah, I had in mind the Great Fairies from Minish Cap while thinking about her design. I should draw her again to properly show her outfit

An option you can go with, that is always intriguing, is to clothe them in light. It might be a little difficult to depict in grey scale. Perhaps shade everything but the clothing, and darken the background for contrast?
This is looking good though, I like all the dress designs, it's really quite inspirational.

You just made me think of the fairies somehow carrying human sized weapons. I should draw that

I'll probably let people suggest flowers for fairies in the future. I'm just terrible at deciding but I'm kinda ok adapting the suggestions
