Soooo, if some of you guys don't know, Norm Lewis had his first performance as the Phantom on Broadway. He also made Broadway history by being the first African-American to do so. That's a pretty big deal. If you don't think that's the coolest thing ever, get out of my face.

His deep baritone voice is so flawless. Everything about his singing was phenomenal. The only way I know was because I've been listening to audio I downloaded. So, to celebrate his awesomeness, I drew these.

Oh, and Norm's voice has officially become my headcanon Erik voice. Why, you all cry out? Well, because awesome Tumblr user fdelopera (F. del l'Opera) totally convinced me when she gave some very convincing evidence:

"…la voix d’Érik […] était retentissante comme le tonnerre ou douce comme celle des anges"

"…Erik’s voice […] was resounding like thunder or soft like that of angels"

And also, she said ,"I'm pretty sure from Leroux's description that Erik was a deep baritone with a high extension and a clear falsetto." She is a legit Leroux phangirl and she's knows everything about Phantom. So, if you want some Phantom knowledge, you should go follow her.
