My GF only has seizures at night but my cousin can have them at any time. My uncle said that the day after she has a seizure is like having a drunk toddler who's 4'8 in the house.

My boyfriend has epilepsy and his parents act like he cant do anything. His mom told me he can never drive or hold a job and will always need someone to live with WTH?! she effin lied to me! He has other medical conditions to but still his parents use it as a excuse it pisses me off

To be honest - Epilepsy is something with 1000 faces. Can you describe his epilepsy clearly? Do you know the kind of seizures, and the amount he has to suffer? They probably are right with "he can never drive", unless he has some very well working medication. But epilepsy and driving is very very risky ^^ too many accidents happen. My husbands uncle has epilepsy - and he didnt listen. He has rare seizures, but one happened while driving a car and he crashed it. Luckily, nothing too bad happened, but people can die thanks to this ignorance of facts. Though, like said, its still a matter of the kind of seizures since there are so many.
Every of your demands depend on which kind of seizures and how frequently they come. So I cannot answer them for you, unless I know more about his kind of epilepsy, sorry

Its hard to cheer someone up who is bullied. I have been bullied myself over 10 years of my schooltime (which is nearly all my school time, yay. <.< ) , but thats long ago and I grew strong enough to ignore it.
Be Proud of yourself and ignore the bullies if possible! You master the day with something so hard to carry with, those bullies have no idea how hard it is. Educate friends about epilepsy and try raising awareness for it a bit in the silence spot, - the more people who Dont bully you understand you, the less chance will the bullies have to touch you for your condition.
It takes courage to talk about it.
I can only hope you are not photosensitive because that opens many doors for bullies =/

Im sorry to hear that. People just cant stop beeing cruel <.< I opened a contest for my Epilepsy Group yesterday and the first idiot came there and posted a seizure triggering image to bully us. Yay for that <.< *luckliy a admin removed it*.
I know I have seen a CP Group somewhere here, too. Its always a help to get people who suffer the same, and trade experiences, help and thoughts. Doesnt remove the bullies, but makes you feel not so alone on this cruel world
