This is a colour version of the sketch of my Halo fan character Jen, done by the lovelyI would like to thank Etoli for the Awesome Sketch she did of my character, and as you can tell I have kept it as unchanged as possible... although some strengthening of lines was done in places.

2006 had some neat ideas it seems. This is one very nicely designed female. The elite armor compliments her form extremely well. Kudos on coming up with Jen.

Thanks. Yeah back in 06 I had a lot of inspiration for things like this at the time, Jen started out funnily enough as a completely random idea I had based on a short lived forum discussion back on the old Halo Babies Forums on how Elite Armour would look on Humans.
And she ended up going from a simple doodle to full blown character development.

Haha, that rawx! Where did you get the body suit texture? I notice you've used that for all of your elite pics and it's a nice touch. I'm always too lazy to actually go in and hand paint the pattern.

hehehe the texture is done simply by using the Stained glass filter in photoshop... all I do is copy and paste the bodysuit area onto a new layer then select the Stained glass filter and after you get the pattern how you want it, simply apply it. after that just select and clear the inner parts so the bodysuit colour is not obscured, then set the layers blending to overlay... its a 5 minute job at least...
if you want I could put together a tutorial showing how its done

Yeah, but it took me a bit of experimenting before I got it right (my early attempts were a mess), still it beats doing it completly by hand.... which put me off doing the pattern on previous images.
