Description
This was a school project. We were supposed to paint with the shades of blue, green and violet and use orange in some details. The background and greenish gray were painted with liquid ink, the tree and the lanterns were painted with watercolours.

I don't know how I got the idea for this painting, the painting just happened. I remember thinking something like: "This makes no sense, but I'll do it." I really like the lanterns and the tree and I'll probably paint more of them.

I tried to edit this look like the original did, but after third failed attempt I just gave up. I think this only lightly edited version is good enough. I also want to submit some of the older work here before the year changes. They have been laying in my folders long enough.
