Just a quick entry to *Wolfwoman7 's contest, submitted under photo-manipulation because it's heavily based upon the photo(s) below. I had originally planned to paint this in acrylics, but time and desk space were limited and I still haven't gotten around to getting a new scanner... plus this provided me with some much needed tablet practice. I hope this serves as a decent tribute in the mean time, Wolf

I am working on a few pics for some people to gain more knowledge of photshop. The way you did his fur is amazing and I need to work on that also. I'll never do people, critters will always be my favorite

I think you're better at it than I was when I first got mine 
Got a Wacom Bamboo relatively recently as a replacement to an older Graphire that my rats decided would be better off without a usb cable. All I can say is that it definitely makes things a helluva lot easier! While I love the ease of digital coloring (and the save and undo features of course) I think traditional art will always be my true passion.
I hear you on people... I'm more of an animal and fantasy kind of person myself (:
