Soaring high above the lava world of Kaatrov is the mighty Nelix. Like the Lavamoth, this creature is also immune to lava, and for good reason. While animals on Earth use their wings or air currents in order to fly, the Nelix seems to be jet propelled. The Nelix scoops up lava with its heat-resistant mouth, and combusts it in two jet-like pods on its wings. They also spend nearly their whole lives on the wing, flying around to scoop up food, from edible plants to small prey. Only the Zargokians hunt them, as they have learned to knock these fast flyers from the sky.
