The Vortaak homeworld was like most planets; too many mouths, not enough to go around. And when the Vortaak faced extinction, Queen VELICIA offered a solution: abandoning their homeworld and expanding their empire across the universe. And so, they offered their dying planet to Ghidorah before setting off on a great conquest. They have also attacked Earth more times than any other known alien race, hence their feared reputation on our world. Each time, however, the Vortaak were pushed aside by Earth's Kaiju. This time, Velicia is preparing an invasion to end all invasions, aided by other races who have their eye on our beautiful, blue planet. WIth Ghidorah's guidance, Velicia is confident that she will reclaim her prize and deliver Earth from the "plague of humanity".
