GHOGO is a peculiar little critter. Possessing magical abilities, he is an artificial lifeform created by the Elias who lived in Nilai-Kanai as a means to help control the climate. The Ghogos served as the battery for the Elias biomachine Razin. However, this also caused a side-effect of pollution. In order to counter this, the Elias programmed the Ghogos to create another artificial lifeform, Dagahra, to clean the oceans. There was a setback: this created the Barem, which polluted even more, and so after the great battle, the survivng Elias hid all the Ghogos. In the 21st century, one was discovered by Shinji and Azusa Ishimaru, and they try to keep it as a pet, unaware it is the key to releasing Razin's terrible power.
