Thought it would be suitable for this kind of Kaiju, and I imaginethis tongue being able to detach from the mouth.

well you hit this design spot on
that was actually one of the first design bits to go when i made him.
i went with a design that made it look like a monster worm forcing its way out of another

That's what I thought; a worm within a worm, kind of like the Graboids from Tremors.
