Its just open canvas, I drew a sketch [link] and on the same layer as the sketch just colored it in with the paintbrush. The sketch is pretty much the lineart XD if I accidently color over to much of the sketch then I go back and color it back in again.

I just adore this style, which is almost like a "messy painting" style, but I can't get anything near it because I'm a perfectionist, and everything has to be perfect, lol.

ah ok...I have seen all of those before XD I just never thought of it..completely different genre, I draw animals my goal was always to just let it look like a statue or figurine.

now if only I can get it to look that way with people drawings *plots*

its really not all that complicated, I suppose you just have to be a person who doesnt mind coloring over their lineart XD its important to have your lineart and color blend in with each other.

I honestly dont care XD I've never been one to jump up and scream "omg! style theft"

it looks like you were using the pen tool? try just using the paintbrush, dont mess with the settings have everything on default and I color on the same layer as the sketch...but yeah thats pretty much it

the pen tool actually has some decent effects as well, I was playing with it the other day and enjoyed what came out of it (only problem was the drawing itself was ugly)..but the paintbrush is much softer..you can see the difference.

Yea, I do see the diff. The paint brush seems to blend more. I like it. Now to get it to seem more sharp.. THe test I did was all blurry and not crisp.

Yea, that's my problem, as well as Photoshop. I hardly use oC. I should give it a go sometimes. I've tried it before for a style, and I liked it's outcome. If only it was as complex as photoshop, lol.

I cant draw people..Im a failure...but thats my new years resolution. Once my 'to-do list' is cleared we shall watch as my devwatch dwindles because of my hopefully frequent people uploades.

OC is so basic is why I love it, everything blends! and I need that blending power! unfortunately I couldnt use it without photoshop either because photoshop has all the nice editing abilities that OC lacks

Ah, so true. I'm experimenting with oC right now. I've used it before, but ya know, practice makes perfect (or close, haha).
