Description The Cleveland Museum of Natural History has the holotype specimen of Nanotyrannus lancensis the pygmy tyrant. Taken at Cleveland Museum of Natural History in Cleveland, Ohio on July 29th 2013.

I know there is some debate over whether nanotyrannus is actually a valid species, or simply just a juvenile tyrannosaurus rex

That same debate is also ongoing over the juvenile tyrannosaur Jane which is also on display at the Cleveland Museum in the lobby.
