Description Heyyyy something I'm proud of. :>

Loved all the new dragon designs in How to Train Your Dragon 2 (which I saw on Tuesday.) Such a good movie! I liked it a lot but still haven't decided whether I enjoyed it more than the first one. And yes I did cry a bit. Β 

I didn't mean to go wild with this but in the end I could always use some additional background practice. I don't think I was successful in making this dragon look as MASSIVE as it ought to but oh well. Critiques are always appreciated!

And now I'm off to a carnival or something. Not really sure actually. :u

Majestic and powerful just as you'd expect of a king.
The air of authority around him while still maintaining that dragon feel is magnificent.

I think the new round of dragons was quite unique. They all had different attributes to make them special. I do have to say, you kept very true to the Bewilderbeast's design. It is very accurate. I also think the detail in the setting was well planned out as well. Gorgeous job!

Gaaah this is gorgeous. <3 SO glad you did fanart of this guy. Β The detail is amazing (that headfur/spikey stuff - <3 <3 <3) and the colors you used for the background work beautifully with him. I loved the two alphas, they were so freaking huge and impressive. ;---;Β 

I think the only way to make these guys look big is to have a frame of reference - a smaller Toothless or a person or something. Otherwise it's pretty impossible. xDΒ

I'm glad you like him! I had to use whatever pictures I could find of him on google as reference and hardly any of them showed his back or tail so I kind of had to improvise. >_< I think it turned out though! Thanks for the kind words. <3

it comes out on DVD. It's toΒ expensive to go to the movies
all the time over here. :/

It's 15 to 20 bucks a ticket plus popcorn or whatever else you want.

Yeah that's pretty high. :< Better to wait until the DVD and then just watch it as many times as you wannnnt. Here movies are 4.50 for matinee and 6.50 regular, but I live in the midwest and cost of living is pretty low.Β

I use Photoshop in the CS4 suite; it's a bit outdated but it definitely gets the job done. :>

I'm really happy with how the background turned out. Cx The clouds are probably my favorite part; clouds always give me trouble.Β 

You've got to see it! I don't know whether I like it better than the first one but it's still a must-see.

Yeah the bewilderbeast design is totally nuts; it took a long time to just get the spines right and even now it's not perfect. @_@

I like Cloudjumper too! For some odd reason whenever I look at...her? (I don't remember) I think of a lobster though. I don't know why haha. I want to at least do an expression study of Cloudjumper if not a completed picture like this one. :>

Yeah, when they do the leviathan huge dragons they always seem to go wild with the design.Β  It always ends up looking cool but darn it's hard to draw!Β  I can only do chibi-style drawings >.>' there is just so much.

I think Cloudjumper is a him, though I'd rather have it a her.Β  I automatically went for owl, mostly cause of them movement, they really packed in a lot of bird like behavior!Β  Aaand I'd love to see that, he'd be so cute in your style!
