This is a thank you to the Cats Protection where we got T'pol. I'm planning to take down some food as well.I am loving owning a cat, and advise anyone who is considering getting one to head down to your local Cats Protection branch (or local pet shelter) and have a look at who they have there before rushing out to get a kitten. The little lady we got was still young, only a year and a half, but was still waiting 3 months. She can be a bit bitey, and i think it scared people off. Now she is home and relaxed she is the cuddliest thing I've ever met, loves to play and loves a cwtch.

Usually green isn't my colour, but you made that green pop!
I think you made that overlay look great and the underlying watercoloured sheet doesn't look distracting in the least. It's a nice pop of colour for an intricate pattern. Β This is a great piece. And I am sure the shelter would love it!Β

They did and thank you. Sadly there wasn't many people around, they had An outbrake of cat flu. They apriciated the cat food I took tho.Β

Was the cut done with the paper folded [except the cat, of course]? How much did you plan, or did it evolve organically?

Yep it was done folded in half, opened up halfway through to cut the cat then folded again. This one was pretty well planned as i had a good idea how i wanted it to look in the end.
I've put a few pictures on tumblr of the process the last few days, they show the original design and the cutting as it progressed.
