I haven't really seen this movie, but I've seen a lot of art for this guy after searching for some Nickelodeon show, 'Robot and Monster'. xD
If it's gotten enough attention to have people draw stuff like this, I should really watch it.

If only that was true in the actual film, as you do feel somewhat sorry for poor Ro-Man in the end...minus all the stock-footage based genocide-by-dinosaur and child murder of course.

That said, it takes a special kind of weird to even know who Ro-Man is, let alone feel like doing art inspired by a truly gawdaful movie.

Now then, is "Robot Monster" gawdaful? I think a movie's worst crime is be boring, and I don't recall any part of this one not entertaining me (even the 'people talking' scenes are ridiculous enough to keep my attention). In that case, I think 'Robot Monster' is an accomplishment (yeah, it's not 'Citizen Kane', but I still enjoy it!), and that's more than can be said for countless other movies with better reputations.

Bronson Canyon (Ro-Man's stomping grounds) can be pretty relaxing...well, except when Adam West and Burt Ward are tearing around in that damned Batmobile. Worst neighbors ever!

His voice threw me in this movie, still it was fun to watch...kinda.

There are some sync issues between George Barrows (the actor in the Ro-Man suit) and John Brown (Ro-Man's voice), but in the end you get the idea. It's not like Ro-Man's voice was booming, "I will wipe out the hu-mans!" while the actor was sitting around reading the paper.
