oh man. i didnt have a special type of blur tool to make it look like like out of focus. or i probably just lack the skill to make it blurry lolarif's first time witnessing a ghoul. unfortunately he met feral ghouls first before running into humans. the scene depicts arif thinking he is having delusions so that's why he is so uncomfortably close and nonchalant. he's just confused and in shock!

i adore the colors and the mood, totally my aesthetic.
what program did you use? in photoshop you could've duplicated the layer > filter > blur > gaussian blur (amount preferred) > apply > then erase what isn't wanted out of focus; something to also get something sharper/more focused is duplicate layer > filterΒ > other > high pass > overlay > then erase what isn't wanted sharper. hopefully this helps somehow!
