You are braver than I am. Β I know the superstructure is probably fine, but if I looked at that for work, I probably would have had it shut down until repairs could be made to the deck. Β Did it move much under live load?

Reminds me of an old wooden bridge built during the Depression era, the WPA and CCC workers built it and then in the 1990's an F3 Tornado came along and that was it for that bridge.

Sixty years that bridge stood there. quite a long time. not as good as the Aqueducts built by the Romans though.

I thought so. On this particular trip we drove past two deer that were right beside the road. It would have been a PERFECT picture.. if my dad hadn't scared them away just as I was about to take the photo haha.Β
