Hmmm, personally I like to interpret their relationship as platonic, in spite of the few hints that it is otherwise. Haha.
Anyway, you have captured Ward's style excellently, as well as shaping it with your own genius aesthetic signature.

The people who make Adventure Time actually wrote them as a lesbian couple to start but Cartoon Network was like nooooo we can't have lesbians so they hint at a former relationship. Not that there's anything wrong with seeing them as only friends, just a little fun fact haha

By the way, when a TV show gets a movie, normally it's art style is slightly modified to be more detailed, intricate, etcetera. If I were Pendleton Ward, I'd definitely choose you to design the characters for the Adventure Time feature film. Just sayin'.
