Name: Viral Renegade
Age: Basically acts around 20/early thirties but he's literally older than time itself.
Sex: Male
Species: Virus-MP3 hybrid

Summary:

History:

The Universe basically "started" with three beings; Renegade (Mechanical), Arachnix (Organic), and Mesa (Spiritual). Each was created for a purpose; Renegade was made to create, Mesa to destroy, and Arachnix just to be.

Renegade was meant to "create" and build on the Universe, making it and the things that live in it. He was very inexperienced though (he was very young for his kind) so the work went slow. Mesa was impatient, and broke the rules of the small Universe by creating a monster which then killed Arachnix, who then ceased to be. Renegade got angry and destroyed the monster, which caused the whole balance of the Universe to go out of whack and make it completely disappear.

Renegade, along with the help of the four stars he created to help him, recreated the Universe after this. After which he put himself to sleep for millions of years to let the stars finish the job.

After aging a little (a few thousand years, but only a few to him), Renegade woke up and was taken away to stay with an evil being called Nessrus. After taking him in, Nessrus basically "copied" Renegade's data and created Deviant, a virus just like Renegade, only younger, and female.

Years went by and Renegade and Deviant became very close. Nessrus then decided they were old enough to start the work he had in mind for them and used a machine to suck out their "ultimate" power to create anything they wished with their bare hands and gave them something called a Binary Shield. A very painful process. The shield and it's properties turned them more into viruses than they were before (giving them the ability to corrupt machines, which they didn't have before), giving them the title "Viral". Viral Renegade and Viral Deviant.

VR and VD were like brother and sister.

Another few years went by, VR and VD working as assassins for Nessrus, and VR was traumatized by a certain murder he committed, losing all emotion, even his love for his sister. Later though, VD was killed with a stab to the chest, and VR got back to his senses. He immediately went to Nessrus, begging him to save her, but he didn't. So VR killed him shortly after, becoming the new leader of their army and moving to the artificially made planet Glitch.

After a few years, VR got into the habit of killing humans. Alot. He wasn't sure why he did. He wasn't crazy, he was perfectly sane; for some reason, he just felt as if he had to, plus, he just loves blood. He's still a murderer to this day.

But not in the Virtual World. See, as little Renegade went into his thousand year hibernation, he dreamt the whole time. He dreamt about a perfect happy world, where everything followed the rules and somewhere he could fit in. Because even during his sleep, he still had his power to create, this world came to life. So really, there were five worlds, not just the four that the stars made. But no one would know of this world until the Internet was invented, and even then, only those that VR told would know.

When VR finally discovered the VW, long after moving to Glitch, he saw that it was almost exactly as he had dreamed it was. Everything was programmed to do what it was meant, and followed those rules; and the people that lived there were completely unaware of the awful real world outside. Of course, computers don't always work perfectly though, right? VR hates the fact that there's still so much going wrong in the VW, and does everything he can to fix it and keep everyone safe. So, basically, in the real world, he's the bad guy, but in the Virtual World, he's the hero.

Personality

VR is generally a very happy guy. When he's out committing all forms of gruesome murder, he's downright disturbing, which is why people tend to think he's mentally unstable. He acts playful and friendly, but just by the slight twitching look in his eyes, you can just tell what he's really thinking.

He takes things pretty seriously, he's just an optimist.

If someone asks him why he does/knows/kills something, etc, he'll always have a seemingly prepared speech to explain it all. One of his favourites being [link] He's just a good speaker. XP He talks alot and likes to talk, except when he's thinking or depressed.

In the Virtual World, he's pretty much just an average guy. He's got friends and plans there and stuff to do and people to see. He's just... average. Not some psychotic killer or Mary Sue'd power freak. He's a normal guy and acts like one. Serious, but happy. Very happy when he's with any of his friends. :3

Fighting

VR's pretty resourceful. He's good with his sword, which is what he uses most of the time, but not a pro. If he doesn't have his sword, or just wants a little variety, he'll gladly use whatever he can get his hands on; most likely something heavy or sharp.

He's extremely strong, as in, he can lift and throw very big/heavy things very far and very hard. He's tough too; he's extremely resistant to any pain when his shield is up, and is able to lose limbs or get sliced in any way (chopped head, body, arms, etc) with no real damage. The bit (lolbit) just floats there and sticks back after a few days.

Likes, dislikes; how and why

Ever since experiencing blood for the first time thousands of years ago, VR has been obsessed with it. After killing someone, he'll play around in the blood with his hands and walk off without washing them.

Being half MP3, he has all the abilties of one. To make any music from his body. When he plays music, the same bars pop up inside him moving to the beat of the song ( [link] ) only his aren't multicoloured; they remain black and white.

He's probably a hard techno dance song. But he can play others. On top of making music, he loves it as much as blood, and listens to it pretty much all day, and always attends music performances in the Virtual World. :]

He's in love with Symphony ( [link] ) but hardly believes it himself. In her presence, he acts like a good friend, if not a little shy, and harshly denies any statements claiming he loves her.

He's obviously not much of a romantic. He might get into a relationship with a random girl on his period, but then end up killing them after it's over. He does act as Viro and others' matchmaker from time to time. :3

He hates most of the human population, but loves his own kind (as in, Virtual Worlders). And if they have a good reason to kill, he's always willing to make friends with a murderer. Pete and Paradox's reasons don't really make much sense, but he just likes them.

He hates chaos.

Binary Shield

Notes: In the Virtual World, he's able to eat the food there even when the shield is up. To avoid awkward situations and stuff, he tends to lock himself up in a room with a hellvua lot of food until his period is over.

Powerssss

Vague glimpses into important future events involving himself or those close to him.

Force like power that lets him throw his sword and have it fly back to him.

He can hover.

And, as long as he isn't being held against his will somewhere, he's able to teleport back to his home on Glitch. For example, if he's locked in a jail, or even if someone is simple holding them back by his arm, he can't use the power. So it's basically just a way to get back home, it doesn't help him out anywhere. He can only teleport back to Glitch, and not back; so it's not very useful in battle either. XP

He can jump in a computer and corrupt it just like any old virus. In fact, he can make any mechanical object (running on electricity) shut down or blow up, depending on his mood. He can make robots and computers follow vague orders. ("Chop that guy's head off", "Play me a song", stuff like that, and only one at a time, and one order within a certain amount of time (An hour or so)).

Those floaty bits

Those dark grey squares at his waist spin around him at a slowish rate. The red lights (and the one on the triangle above his head) blink slowly, and faster when he kills someone. Here's why.

When Nessrus had the Binary Shield added to VR and VD, he also "attached" those floaty bits to them. The squares basically keep them under his control, as well as offer a very weak shield (which shut down after his death). If either one tried to disobey his specific orders, the squares would give them a small electrocution (increasing in intensity as they continue to disobey; for example, the first time would be a little shock, the next time would hurt more, and the LAST time would just kill them). This also seems to have been disabled with his death (well, he can't give orders now, can he? |D). The squares and their old purpose is what makes VR think he's supposed to kill. If they were to be destroyed, he would probably realize that murder is NOT good, and he should stop.

The triangle is basically his "hard drive". It records everything he sees (the light works as a tiny camera) and every he thinks and hears and tastes and every singles memory is stored in that thing, basically. The camera is always recording, but when VR kills someone, it only SAVES what was recorded 20 minutes before, after, and during the murder. It also keeps a tally of all his murders (the number is currently at ten zillion or so at this point). This was for Nessrus; so he was able to confirm that VR was killing enough and the right people.

But hard drives start to get full and run slowly as they do, right? When VR's hard drive starts to get too full of memories and recordings, he starts to slow down and needs to clear it out. It's not as simple as throwing it in the trash bin, though. |3

VR's been around for a long time, so he's able to delete some small, useless memories (names of people he's killed for example, he won't need them anymore, right?), but that's nowhere near enough. He has to "extract" all the recordings of the murders he's done. To do this, he connects himself to a machine, and the recordings play back on a big screen. This extracts them, but they have to go somewhere. That's the catch; someone has to watch the video, the whole thing, all the way through. It's usually Viro, because no one else is around; plus he's seen most of these murders anyways. Still, he doesn't like it.

Summary: A little sprite that rose from Nessrus' body after being killed. In reality, no one really knows how exactly he came to be. He follows VR everywhere, even though he doesn't really enjoy it (he hates his murder obsession). In the Virtual World though, they're pretty good friends.

He's very serious but tends to have little spaz fits from time to time (in very awkward/tense/etc situations :b). He's very skeptical, and a pessimist, and acts like VR's disgruntled conscience, constantly reminding him that killing is bad and that he should stop. He's mean and sarcastic about the whole murder thing, but acts sad after the dark deed. :c

Viro loves humans. He often runs (flies) away from Glitch to stay in hiding with humans, you know, to get a break from VR's insanity. VR and Viro can share sight though; meaning VR can see what Viro sees, but ONLY if the little guy looks into someone's eyes. He then finds Viro/that person, kills the guy and brings Viro back home. One time, Viro found a blind girl that VR couldn't see, and continues to visit her to this day.

He loves the VW even more. It's the only place he feels happy and safe. If it were up to him, he'd spend all his time there. Shammy makes him mushy.

Viro is weak, but strong. He can lift and throw almost anything (even heavier than what VR can lift) but can BE thrown easily and has very low pain tolerance.

He's smart and practical, and sings with a sweet, girlish voice. :3
