Description
As we continue to refine Lika's story also we create new characters that will take part of the new plot and which directly interact with the protagonist, or which just are part of the environment as background characters (although, not for that, doesn't means we don't have to take care of their design or put less emphasis on originality). Clearly, we can't use official characters constantly in the original frame, as they can't do everything and can't be everywhere, so this type of new original characters are also needed. Here's one of them: Oda.

Likes: Generally fast food and beer, but she is addicted to milk and cheese that Lika brings from her village. She also likes the sound made by the steps of her heels on the cobblestone streets, the light from the streetlights, dancing and walk around in a bathrobe on her house.
Dislikes: Pickles, people who take too familiar with her and the buns that are filled with pumpkin strands in syrup.
Hobbies: Footing/Jogging and take care of her aquarium.
Personality: Oda is usually happy and fun, trying to act calm even in unfavorable conditions for her. She knows how hiding her more unpleasant feelings behind a charming smile. That's because in her business is vital to make a good impression if you want to bring customers back. But Oda also can be extremely manipulative and she knows how to control people and she doesn't mind using them in order she can gets what she wants. Oda can become a very independent and emotionally detached from people but if she finds someone trustworthy is when she shows how kind and loyal she can be.

-She loves aquarium fishes and has three as pet.
- It's very difficult she gets drunk because Oda has a lot of resistance to alcohol.

Mientras continuamos puliendo la historia de Lika también vamos creando nuevos personajes que formaran parte de la nueva trama y que, o bien interactúan directamente con la protagonista, o simplemente forman parte del entorno donde se mueve como personajes de fondo (aunque, no por ello, no significa que no se tenga que cuidar su diseño o ponerle menos énfasis a la originalidad). Está claro que no se pueden utilizar constantemente los personajes oficiales que ya existen en la trama original, ya que no pueden hacerlo todo ni pueden estar en todas partes, al igual que no se verán los mismos lugares que ya conocemos, así que este tipo de personajes también son necesarios. Aquí tenéis uno de ellos: Oda.

No le gusta: El pepinillo, que la gente se tome demasiadas confianzas con ella, que los bollos estén rellenos de cabello de ángel o dulce de calabaza.
Hobbies: Salir a correr y encargarse de su acuario.
Personalidad: Por lo general Oda es alegre y divertida, intenta actuar de manera tranquila aún en condiciones poco favorables para ella. Sabe ocultar sus sentimientos más desagradables detrás de una encantadora sonrisa. Eso es debido a que en su negocio es vital dar buena impresión si quiere que los clientes vuelvan. Pero Oda también puede ser extremadamente manipuladora; ella sabe controlar a la gente y no le importa utilizarla de modo que pueda conseguir lo que quiere. Oda puede llegar a ser una persona muy independiente y desapegada emocionalmente de las personas pero si encuentra a alguien digno de confianza es cuando demuestra lo amable y leal que puede ser.

Oda is really pretty. Her design is pretty unigue since not many people use such strawberryblonde/ginger (not exatcly sure which it is) color for hair. Her hair style is stylish and elegant without being too formal or high maintenance. I also like that her hair is only about shoulderblade lenght.
I like that Lika's life and story doesn't revolve around the canon characters completely and I tend to prefer older oc's who don't take part in the main plot but are there in the backstory/offscreen so to speak.
Oda has interesting story on her own, so she doesn't come across as that oc that's just Likas friend. It feels like she could be her own person and have life and story that doesn't revolve around Lika but that because Lika is the protagonist your story focuses on her.
Though isn't Oda a japanese family name? Is it short for some longer name because it kind of seems out of place. Though it's better than most japanese sounding names on ocs since I could imagine it being old fashioned rarely used european name as well.
I generally really like all your ocs. Mostly because their stories don't rely on Ed and Al but use the interesting setting of the series to have their own stories and interact with the supporting characters and give them friends, families and people to interact with. I actually prefer ocs like that for FMA. (And I totally ship Lika and Scar as well as Miles and Joanna, because neither of them gets much of romance in the fandom and when they do it's with either Mary Sue or incredibly boring ocs.)

First of all, I'm sorry for the lateness in answer your comment. I don't usually delay a reply so much, plus I want to answer this comment as it should, because I loved it and it's one of the best I have received on this drawing.
I chose precisely that hair color for the reasons which you mentioned before. Many people think of real ginger is just red or neon orange, but there are more colors and tones (not to mention red color on hair doesn't exist).
I also thought that there are different ways to draw a wavy hair (not just Lust's style). I know many people can't feel identified with their own hairstyle with the one of an anime character precisely because of the shortage of this kind of realistic hairstyles but yet are barely used in the world of animation.
As you say, Oda is a minor character, so she has her own story, but there isn't need to do anything too complex plot for her, or in connection with any canon character, sometimes the simple things are the best.
It's true that Oda is a Japanese name. When we chose the name we were looking for rare European names and we find the name of Oda, apparently, it's Russian. But it's kinda troublesome Oda match with a Japanese name because I wouldn't want people misunderstand her racial or her ethnic origins.
I feel very honored by your kind words about my OCs. The truth is Ed and Al already have too much prominence and the relationship they have with the other characters are well known by the fans. So I see needn't to go deeper in the aspects of their lives. However there are other characters who don't have much prominence but they aren't less interesting, not to mention, I personally have always attracted me more secondary characters, I think they also need love and prominence.

Taking your time to answer is fine. 
I definately prefer the more natural looking colors for redheads, since the neon oranges and the bright reds do look bit unnatural, and while FMA does use yellow for blonde, they still tend to be less bright and "agressive" colors, than the unnatural ones used for redheads. Real redheads have more brownish hair color, so you are definately right they aren't true reds or oranges(which is why auburn and other strongly redish-brown colors are so confusing to me, because aren't they just as red as the gingers or other redish tones of hair).
I have curly hair, so I love seeing people come up with different ways of drawing curly/wavy hair, since it tends to be very under represented in drawn media(and most curly haired characters do have Lust-type of exagerated curls, rather than more normal ones). Animated series do tend to reuse lot of the hairstyles(probably because the animators have practice drawing them), so lot of the more unique and real styles are left unused, because the animators don't want to waste time in relearning how to animate different styles, probably. Anime characters and really most other animated characters, do tend to have very uncommon or impossible hairstyles, so seeing ocs with more normal styles is really nice.
Minor characters definately allow you to only go as deep with them as you need for the story, rather than figuring out lot of little details about their lives. Minor character ocs don't need the connection to canon characters, you are right about that, though for most series you need to connect the main oc with at least one canon character(even as a friend/aquintance), so that the fans actually are interested in you specific character.
I found the info that Oda is a female form of Otto, so not really Russian(though Oda might be the name of really obscure Saint of Russian Orthodox Church if you found the info it's Russian(some Saints(or biblical figures) are rarely used for names in Russia, even if they exist)). It's really annoying when you find the perfect name and then it has multiple meanings or big connection to completely different culture. Oda just happens to be the family name of a very well known historical figure, Oda Nobunaga, and it's the name of a very famous mangaka Oda Eiichiro, so the Japanese connection is very noticable, despite not being deliberate. I did find alternative forms Auda and Odette for Oda, if the Japanese connection starts to annoy you too much, though honestly you are completely justified in using just Oda, because it's a real name and probably actually occasionally still used in Germany(where it originates from).
I tend to have opposite issue, in that lot of names that are perfectly fine that people give their ocs(or even for canon characters) mean something unflattering in Finnish. Like the girls name Kamala means lotus, but is the Finnish word for horrible. Or Hana is flower in Japanese, but faucet/tap in Finnish(Sora, Japanese for sky, is Finnish for gravel as well).
Main characters are harder to involve with ocs, because we know so much more about them and really connecting ocs with them only works, if the story happens in the future. Ed and Al do have well established backstories and the canon is so well written, that I don't really feel the need to even create ocs that effect the canon events in anyway, because they are fine the way they are(which is why my ocs for FMA are fankids, because I can't come up with story that happens simultaniously with canon and involves the main cast).
FMA has well done supporting characters, so I understand why fans love them(I love them as well) and feel the need to come up with stories for them. I personally just have too much trouble, since filling in the stories of the minor characters would give me too free hands, so the story wouldn't really go anywhere and just spread to involve more and more plots, but no progress on any of the plotlines.
The minor characters need much more love from the fans.
Your English is quite good, though I also tend to apologize for my English, since sometimes it's so hard to figure out the right words for things and dictionaries are unhelpfull(because you don't know the synonym in your own language either and the word you use has different context in English).

Estoy de acuerdo con lo que dices al principio, no se pueden usar constantemente los presonajes oficiales si lo que queréis es que vuestra historia sea compatible con la oficial. Cuanto más interfieran, más se entremezclará y más complicado será de compatibilizar ambas sin caer en lo ilógico, y por lo que me habéis contado eso lo tenéis muy en cuenta y queréis que las dos tramas sean coherentes entre sí. Por lo tanto, crear personajes secundarios (o extras) como Oda son el suplemento ideal, además que añade más profundidad a vuestra historia.
En cuanto a su diseño, dentro de mis límites en anime XD, me gusta mucho, original pero sobrio al mismo tiempo. Uno de los problemas que ocurren a veces es que para ser originales se sobrecargan los personajes de rasgos, o vestidos y peinados complicados, cuando a veces simplemente es necesario partir de una buena idea de fondo. Me llama la atención los rizos en las puntas de su cabello, eso lo he encontrado original, así como el remolino que tiene delante. Bueno, de eso no estoy del todo seguro pero por el peinado y los mechones que le salen en el frente diría que es un remolino.
Y sobre sus rasgos, me hace gracia esos pequeños detalles, como que le gusta el sonido de sus tacones o que no le guste el pepinillo
PD: Manipuladora? Uyyy, que no se le ocurra ir a Lika con Scar en su bar jujuju...

Se me olvidaba, si, es camarera de un bar porque siempre se tienen que utilizar oficios que vayan acordes a las localizaciones que la protagonista visita ¿no crees?
Tambien depende de la relevancia en la trama, ya sabes que Joanna es historiadora y es lo mejor que le podía pasar para tener una buena relación con Miles.

Acerca de los personajes oficiales, no sólo es eso que dices de los canons y la cronología sino también por el realismo: si un OC conociera a todos los personajes oficiales automáticamente sería una marysue.
Con lo del diseño pasa exactamente lo mismo, la gente se suele basar en personajes canons para hacer los suyos: la mayoría son winrys, rizas y versiones femeninas de Ed y yo quería evitar eso. Otro motivo era para hacerle justicia a los pelirrojos, la gente no sabe dibujar pelirrojos, hacen colores muy irreales, supongo que es porque se fijaran en series animes donde la gente tiene pelo de colorines o por películas como la sirenita. El pelirrojo no es tener el pelo rojo, eso no existe en la realidad; sino tener el pelo naranja. Lo de los labios surgió porque tanto personajes como Olivier como Martel tiene labios gruesos + cara de cabreo y yo quería cambiar un poco ese concepto cambiandole la expresión y los ojos por una más simpática XDD. Me alegro que te hayas fijado en los rizos.
También le hice los pechos grandes porque la gente suele asociarlos con chica provocadora [link] o con chica moe y verngonzosa [link] , quería eliminar ese cliché y el fanservice que conlleva tener esa constitución. (Ni ella está avergonzada ni va por ahí provocando). Un buen ejemplo de buen personaje con "pechonalidad" XD es Izumi, puede que vaya escotada pero como es tan badass es en lo único en lo que te fijas. Luego también tenemos Olivier que no con mini tops XD Vamos, mi conclusión es que tener los pechos grandes no te convierte automáticamente en Sue sino en como los usas (lo mismo pasa con el pelo, si tienes un pelo original pero no paras de hablar de él o describirlo en tus fics se convierte en sue)
jejeje, los detalles, no sé... fue algo que nos vino a la cabeza, hay tonterías que suelen gustar a todo el mundo pero que la gente no se ponen a pensar en ellas (como el sonido de los tacones, me acuerdo que me gustaba oirlos en los juegos de la play 1) Sólo tienes que ver las películas de Miyazaki, son películas plagadas de pequeños detalles que todo el mundo adora como por ejemplo ver al protagonista cocinar unos huevos fritos con bacon en primer plano *¬* (no sé si conoces esa escena XDDD)

Si un OC conociera todos los personajes oficiales entonces no sé cómo sería posible hacer un cómic paralelo y que fueran compatibles XD

Anda, no me fijé en lo de los pechos XD. Sabes que pasa? Uno se acostumbra a ver tantos personajes femeninos animes con gran "pechonalidad" y al final llega uno a acostumbrarse y a tomarlo por normal XDDDD. Por otra parte el jersey se lo disimula bastante, se ve que a pesar de su delantera no se lo has querido destacar (al contrario de lo que pasa la mayoría de las veces).

Es que parece que un personaje que tenga "huge boobs" tenga que ir por ahí presumiento/acomplejandose o usándolas como método para provocar envidia en otras féminas (yo no veo que se haga eso con los hombres en lo que respecta a Ocs,no he visto a nadie que destaque si la tiene grande o pequeña)

Vaya, eres la tercera persona que me comentas sobre que es manipuladora YAY!!! Creo que un buen Oc debe tener defectos, no hay que decir "si, si, tiene defectos pero esos son sus virtudes o en el fondo no es así" porque entonces sólo lo estás utilizando de tapadera para convertirla en marysue (no sé si me explico XDDD)
Ya le dije a Nova en el dibujo de las tres que Oda tenía mucha pechonalidad XD.
Hace tiempo que quería diseñar un personaje así: siempre que hacen una chica bien dotada en un anime o va muy escotada/provocando o es tímida y se avergüenza de su cuerpo (En ambos casos el fanservice nunca faltará). Es un verdadero cliché.
Yo pienso que cada uno se debe aceptar como es, siempre van a haber pros y contras, da igual que tipo de cuerpo tengas, si lo tienes de pera, de reloj o de banana ¿no crees?
