AAM stands for Artistic AniManga, , and this is my entry for their "Summer School" contest.

Meet Letica and Zimko, my latest OCs~ I had a lot of fun designing them, and in the end I liked them so much I decided to keep them and draw them more often.

Letica (pronounce Leh-tee-tsah) is 16 years old, and impersonates Summer. I derived her name from the Serbain word for summer, "leto". She generally is a very cheerful and energetic girl, however she tands to have really bad and sudden mood swings - like summer storms. Summer is her favourite season, since she loves the sun and warmth, and generally doesn't have problems with great heat. However, winter is a bad time for Letica; that's when her body starts to act up, since apparently the cold from outside causes it to warm up immensly, which means that Letica usually wears her summer uniform even during winter, and is constantly looking for open windows and the likes to cool herself down.

Zimko (pronounce Zeem-koh, and the "z" is pronounced like the 's' in 'rose', so it's a warrrrm sound) is a year old, 17, and impersonates Winter. His name was derived from the Serbian word for winter, "zima". Zimko is a bit reserved and likes to keep his distance, and he can be rather ironic and cold. However, he's a very good friend, good at listening, and generally tends to warm up to people if he gets to know them better. Zimko (asdemonstrated) has the opposite problem of Letica; during summer, because of the heat, his body cools down drastically, which is why he's allowed to wear his winter uniform even during summer, and generally looks for warm spots (and usually has one cold after another during that time).

This is also why they both attend summer school; Letica has great troubles at school during winter, while Zimko has the opposite problem during summer. But with each other's help, they both usually manage to pull through summer and get their grades back in order.
In general, these two are really good friends, and each of them knows that the other tends to be overly sensitive during their problem season - this is why during summer, Letica never really gets offended when Zimko reacts the way he does (that, and her mood simply is indestructible during summer xD).
The school these two attend is something of a more "noble" school, so to speak, that's why their uniforms look more extraordinary than normal ones. And btw - yes, actually Letica's uniform should have a bow around her neck 'n all, but she's just too lazy and the weather is too nice to have the blouse all buttoned up. And the teacher isn't in the class room atm.

I still wanna play around with their profiles for a bit, but that's the gist of it. I might also create a spring and autumn personification for the heck of it. xD
