That depends on where you live and what you consider expensive. In Czech Republic you can get good pedigree CSW for 10 000 CZK. That price, however, is just a minor part of what you will have to be able to pay during the dog's life - veterinarian, food, housing, training, ...

She is absolutely gorgeous. I used to show Siberian Huskies, is the wolfdog another breed as I have never come across this name before

Czechoslovakian wolfdog (Ceskoslovensky vlcak) is a FCI recognized dog breed, created few decades ago from crossing eurasian wolves with working german shepherds. They are much healthier than GSDs, but they are also much more wolflike in behavior. I like that about them, but not everyone does

You know I always wonder what 'wataha' means? Jantar I know, and surely it is connected with wolfdogs' amber eyes.

hm.. wataha is a pack of wolves 
it was funny and sometimes hard. There was a lot of dogs so in dog shows or camps we have a lot to do.

Snow is great and all wolfdogs love it. Nevertheless they can adapt to very hot climate no problem. I wish this could be said about me as well. Hot weather kills me every summer:]
