The title comes from "Silent Circus" from the Silent Hill 4: The Room Soundtrack - Akira Yamaoka.

Explanation: I've had an interest in dark, scary hallways for a while now. During the practice SATs last year, I got to experiment with going through a pitch-black hallway, in a section of the school that was not being used for testing. I developed the idea to try going through the hallway with the Silent Hill soundtracks on, seeing its effect on my mental state. It was... an interesting test.

Later, when I used to go to Physical Therapy for my back, I always had time, waiting for my parents to pick me up, to try this out in the small medical facility that I was always stuck in. I found Silent Circus was a good fundamental song for such a test, as it was very... disturbing. From this I developed a complex experiment...

I hope to one day be able to try this - in some kind of facility, preferably my school, have people, one at a time, be stuck in it, trying to find a key to open the front office door, where I would be. All the while, the intercoms are blasting different ambient musics from Silent Hill - various trials would include strange ambience (Silent Circus), high-strain chaotic (Wounded Warsong), pulsating (Pulsating Ambience), and deranged chiming (The Suicidal Clock Chime), as well as no sound and white noise. All the while, there's little light, and a few small amenities are findable (like a very weak flashlight). I would actually really want to do that myself, trying to go through such a trial and keep my cool.

The closest I got was, during this year's practice SAT, getting to do it. It was... interesting.
