In that case you should ask that bought the journal. The only thing I wouldn't like to change is the design and coding of the journal and that our names stays in it.

yah. Do you know how to make an animation? Could you tell me how to make a journal skin? Those are two questions I REALLY want to know the answer to.

Well I simply design it but the difficult part is the coding and that's what my boyfriend does, and I really have no idea how =S I just know is CSS. You could design it and find someone that know CSS so they can put it to work. And of course the Premium Membership so you can install it.
To start designing my first journal I searched for other people journals to see kind of how they worked, the size and all that.
Animations? what kind? gifs? flash? anyhow I know how to make gifs (but I don't have a program right now so I can make

Try using gimp, is free and you can do animated gifs there [link] and here [link] a tutorial of how to do it with it. I'm going to download gimp myself now...I didn't know

For example in photoshop I can make animated gifs but I can't open them and manipulate them...why? I have no idea. Maybe the program you're using is the same. I think gimp too works for animated gifs but I have never used it
hmm searching on the internet I found of something called "animated gif resizer" google it and see if helps.
