More results of my bored stupor. The first one is an idea I've been pondering in my mind for a fair while now, while the second is one that's come up only relatively recently. These are Shadow the Hedgehog and Tikal the Echidna from an unspecified new alternate universe that I haven't developed, so these were mostly done for fun for the mean time.

Shadow here is designed in a de-powered state. In this world, Maria escapes the ARK raid and Shadow is instead captured by G.U.N, from there on being experimented on by the government to harness his Ultimate Lifeform genes. After an incident that absorbs his Chaos Energy, his Black Arms DNA is stripped from him entirely, rendering him a very ordinary and powerless Hedgehog. Design was simple, his red stripes were removed, quills dropped down, his fur has gone from a jet black to a pale dark brown, and his eyes have gone from red to a faded grey. He has his Inhibitor Rings removed from his wrists and ankles as he no longer needs his power suppressed, the rings are carried around his waist as a belt for sentimental value. His focus and reflexes aren't as sharp as they used to be without his Black Arms DNA giving him natural speed; now unable to use his Air Shoes, he exchanges them for simple Soap Shoes. The cuffs where his Inhibitor Rings used to be are based on the design underneath his rings as shown in the Shadow side ending cutscene in Sonic 06. His wrist and ankle bands are altered slightly, and his chest fur is drooped down rather than sticking outwards.

Tikal on the other hand is designed to show having developed MOAR POWER. After an alternate series of events leading towards the climax of SA1, Perfect Chaos is not defeated and instead Tikal seals herself and Chaos within the Master Emerald a second time. This time formulating a plan to quell Chaos' rage once and for all; by merging his consciousness with her own. From within the Master Emerald, Tikal willingly merges herself with Chaos, becoming Chaos Tikal. As Chaos Tikal, Tikal is able to harness his powers in the form of an armoured exo-skeleton. I'll likely adjust her design later to be less copyright infringe-y, since her armour is pretty much ripped straight from Guyver's design: static.comicvine.com/uploads/o… (it's worth noting that Guyver was also the basis for Emerl/Gizoid's design). The colour scheme of her fur and muzzle being all green has a double meaning: firstly showing an alternative take on the Tikhaos idea who was entirely green, and secondly showing her off as a "Chaos Tikal", in the same manner Chaos Knuckles was all green in appearance. The armour's colour scheme is based on Generations!Perfect Chaos' weird armour plating.
