Description
Hey I come back after a long absence
I spent almost like 7 hours in this.... whew I didn't sleep at all =_= it's 5:51 am right now....... must sleep....... Anyways I got inspired after I read the contest in 's contest for mythology. I used Korean mythology and it's about this legendary king named Jumong. According to legend, his mother was the daughter of the River God and his father was the Sun God. Jumong was raised under the service of the king (his mother was working as servant to the king because she was kicked out of the River God's house for marrying the Sun God). Even when he was young he was extremely talented at archery. His skill drew jealousy from the king's sons and they tried to kill him. So Jumong ran away and when he arrived to a dead-end river, he prayed to the River God to save him. Suddenly, fishes and turtles rose to the surface and Jumong used this make-shift bridge to escape his pursuers. He later established the Kingdom of Buyeo.

His hair kinda looks longer in this picture... but he's so hot =w= i'm sorry i butchered the body D: i'm not good at drawing male body........ T_T

That was very original using a Korean myth. I like the idea of the fishes and turtles making a bridge! Those would have to be some strong fish!
Having a picture drawn like this with minimal colour makes me think of a scroll, or an old book you'd find the story in.
