Description Too many Youtube Team Fortress 2 monsters floating around my head, like Painis Cupcake and the Spyper, so I thought that I'd make my own.

This idea is a few weeks old, but it's been through a few revisions.

Who is the Scoldier?
No, this is not the latest "cute" pairing portmanteau name, you loons. This is a Scout with a little more than a Multiple Personality Disorder.

Why the Scoldier?
Originally, it was an idea for a mutated way to make up for Scout's "tiny man" status, but I later found out that Soldier's only taller than the Scout by an inch, and not much bulkier. Therefore, bar mutating the Scout into the Heavy, I changed his reason for being.

How the Scoldier?
No one knows how this Scout developed his alter ego in this manner... All anyone knows is that--

If you know what's good for you, you will run!

"Rules" of the Scoldier.
Scoldier normally functions as your run-of-the-mill, ever-cocky Scout.
To achieve Scoldier form, this Scout must unlock his inner Soldier, either through an act of blind patriotism (resulting in the most "Soldier-like" of Scoldiers), a feeling of inadequacy due to thin physique (producing a revengeful Scoldier capable of team-killing), an outburst of abnormal rage (the most common reason, resulting in an evenly mixed Scout-Soldier being), or just plain out of the blue (the most dangerous, yet luckily rare, transformation of them all).
After either a devastating killing spree or a good "Soldier-ing about", the Scoldier transforms back into the Scout rather snappily. The Scout remembers nothing of what he did as the Scoldier except the feelings of pride and satisfaction from his antics.
The Scoldier looks like your average Soldier, only without grenades, rocket launchers, or any of the Soldier's other artillery. The Scoldier wields only the Scout's original weapons, but their power is significantly increased.
The Scoldier is also distinguished by a normal Soldier by wearing the Scout's cap (or any hat the Scout is wearing at the moment of transformation).
The Scoldier retains the Scout's speed and ability to double-jump, as well as the Soldier's health and power.
The Scoldier retains the Scouts passion for Baseball, but enhanced by the Soldier's patriotism to rabid levels. As such (at least in revengeful mode), his bat and baseballs are his favorite weapons to use against his enemies.
Despite the Soldier's "Less Talk, More Fight" attitude, the more "Soldier-like" Scoldier will more likely talk trash to fellow teammates more than fight them or the enemy team.
If the Scoldier dies, he respawns in his Scout form, with no memory of his other form except for feelings of pride.
Should the Scoldier appear by sheer chance, this can only mean that whatever powers that damned the Scout to a life of split-personality mean business, as this form possesses near-indestructibility second only to an Übercharged Soldier, as well as ridiculous strength. This does not mean that this Scoldier is in a blind rage; on the contrary, he's at his calmest and most aware, abnormally for either of his component classes.
There are many ways of defeating the Scoldier depending on his current "mode":
Letting him revert to Scout form and dealing with him from there.
If "normal" or "Soldier-like", exploit any weaknesses to be expected from a Scout-Soldier combination.
If "revengeful", never try to attack head on.
If unexpected, do everything humanly possible to stop him so that he might return to normal again, and if that doesn't work...

Start prayin', boy!

In conclusion, this monster mix is my idea, and while the name of Scoldier might be someone elses, this Scoldier is my idea at least partially.

Team Fortress 2, however, is not mine. It's copyright to VALVe corporation.

It's not supposed to be an even mix, it's supposed to be like Jeckyll and Hyde.

So what if it won't "catch on" like Painis Cupcake and Vagineer have? At least I have that in my favor; less chance of somebody screwing it up.
