A Toothless painting I did back in December in between commissions for practice!
If you guys remember, the last painting I uploaded was painting on a black and white base and adding color through the multiply layer! This one is just tackling the painting head on through coloring directly on to the canvas with a normal layer.
I got the idea after looking through some (reallyyyy horrible) old art of mine! Toothless is an all black character so I thought he would be a good jumping off point. I consider this to be some kind of redraw of sorts! And besides, Toothless is one of my favorite characters so why not!
