Lyra being... Lyra. Seriously, I don't know how she did that. This hand obsession is getting out of hoof. She's still my second favorite background pony, though.

Lyra did it with her hooves, in a personal attempt to do it without the help of magic. Being quite proud of this fun but ambitious goal, her obsession with hands went away and never came back.
Or, this is how she keeps her hooves nimble for playing the lyre, harp and other stringed instruments.
Like Lyra herself, this is a very cute drawing. Well done!
