Orion Stark, the Silvered Fang, is an ancient Hunter from the years before The Last City. Once an ancient Warlord and then the first of the Iron Wolves, he lived on where the rest of his brethren fell to the SIVA, spending the rest of his days combing the Earth for worthy prey, namely alien scavengers of all breeds. In the earliest days of the Last City, however, he made its outskirts, nearby and just beyond, his new hunting grounds, ensuring that the paths to this last safe bastion of humanity were protected from those who would threaten it as well as the slumbering Traveler hovering above them, becoming something of a folk legend by the earliest residents. Orion soon became more than legend, as he began cooperating with other warriors of the Light, now becoming known as Guardians, participating in a majority of the battles taking place around the Last City. By the time of a number of great victories to the Last City and the Guardians, Orion has spread the reach of his range, travelling beyond the boundaries of Earth to give further defense to humanity and find his next great hunt since the days of the Ahamkara. Following the events of the Red War, his whereabouts are currently unknown: his last known location was believed to be around Saturn, supposedly on a mission to check out on reports of a, unknown Hive vessel in close proximity to the Dreadnought.
Among those within the Tower, he is especially close to the shipwright Amanda Holliday, so much that she has even allowed him to test-run a personal pet project of hers in his journeys. As a Hunter, he prefers to work alone on most any mission, but has been known to work alongside other Guardians should the need arise: among those were his close friend and fellow Hunter Eris Morn, who he knew very well before her ill-fated mission into the Hellmouth, and continues to keep their friendship alive in the time of her return to the Tower. Orion has also made a personal alliance with the Queen of the Reef, Mara Sov, whom he has accepted numerous hunts from on the traitorous House of Wolves, including their former leader Skolas, Kell of Kells, and even claiming the slain Fallen Kell's cloak as his own trophy to bear: from then, most Fallen have come to refer to him as the Silvered Fang. By his own code, his personal choice in weaponry largely encompasses blades of all shapes and sizes, his favored being the Bolt-caster. His oldest companion is his Ghost, whom he has named Tyrion.
