Description
Toying a bit with a cel-shading style.I love the old days when in classic cartoons and anime, all the mechanical stuff (robots, ships, cars, etc) where hand drawn. Nowadays almost all the technical things are CG... and really look like crap (cheap and false, you know what I mean).
Is there any actual anime with hand drawn mechas? or space ships?
Well, in other news, I want to tell you that I started working in the Transformers comic books at IDW!! I can't show anything yet, but I must confess it's like a dream came true to me. I'm a HUGE TF fan since the original G1 cartoons!

Rom was bought by Hasbro and they just started producing comics with him. I hope they reprint the Marvel series the same way they did with GI Joe and Transformers.
Hasbro is putting all of their characters into a single universe in the IDW comics the same way the Marvel/Sunbow cartoons put Transformers, G.I. Joe, Inhumanoids and Jem into the same animated universe. Transformers and G.I Joe already share the same universe in the comics so now Action Man, Rom and M.A.S.K. are being melded into it. I hope they keep going and reintroduce the Inhumanoids into the shared comics universe.Β

I'm going to have to start collecting IDW comics. I was just dc and marvel with a few odds and ends but they started to get old on their stories. Β ROM has been one of my favorites since it first came out.

I highly recommend IDW's Transformers books and the GI Joe: A Real American Hero series. They are some of the most well written comics I've read in ages.Β
It just sucks that Hasbro literally only owns Rom. Marvel made up every other character and enemy in his original comics and as far as I saw they still own them. So I can't wait to see who Rom will fight against in this series.Β
