All the soft colours, and all the hair. Makes me think of how nice and soft the hair would feel. Heavenly! I have the sudden urge to brush and braid hair!

It's almost hypnotic to trace the lines of hair with your eyes. You must have incredibly steady hands for the lines to be so evenly-spaced and continuous! All those lines were well worth it, because the swirls are so beautiful!

Since you mentioned braids I can now imagine a piece like this but braided! Maybe one day I feel like torturing myself ...

To say the truth my hands are a bit shaky, but I guess after some time doing the pattern my mind switches off and my hands calm down...Otherwise I have no other explanation!

I love the soft feeling of the background...what did you use for that?

Thank you ...I use markers predominantly nowadays for their quick usage...For bigger areas it is good to do it quickly to avoid the connection marks where the marker runs over already painted area...However, Promarkers (and Copics of course) have a slightly longer period of drying to avoid those marks...Basicly the longer you stay with a marker on one place the darker it gets as visible on the background...

Ah I've used promarkers myself, I did use them quite a bit until a few years back when they mostly died. I do mostly black and white works I guess now, and have quite gotten into watercolours...I find they're actually similar to markers in the sense that you have to work fast in a way and not leave an edge too long so it dries.^^

Yeah, markers die too quickly to my liking ...
And watercolours are great too just a bit more messy I think ...

I know...and they're not cheap.^^" I thought about investing in some refillable ones...but then with the watercolours, which last so long...O.O
Yes...I enjoy the mess too mych. XD
