Not completely true. The actual nibs are different too. the original square ones have hard nibs on both sides for more designy drawings. Ciao have a really nice brush nib made of something like silicon on one side and the chiselled nib is smaller than the original ones. iv never used Sketch Markers but i know they all are are very different depending on what you use them for.

There are three types of markers:
sketch (the one in the picture), ciao (smaller-size than sketch) and original(square sized)

no problem, ^_^
ciao and sketch are the same... the only difference is that ciao is smaller (and for beginners), while sketch is bigger(and more professional)....

it all depends on how much money you have....
if you don't have too much money and want to buy alot of colors, then buy ciao ($4.00 each)....

But if money isn't a problem...choose sketch ($6.00 each)

yes, i know several copic marker stores in toronto that sell copic markers. That is if you live in toronto. They are Woolfits, Midoco, curry's art store and aboveground. The three listed are the best stores that i go to to buy copics. If you google the stores or go to their websites, you can find a lot of information on them. Usually, the copic orginals are $7.00 and the copic ciao are $4.00.

copic ciao are about 4 dollar in canada and copic sketch are about 7 dollars. The only difference is copic ciao is skinner (smaller) than copic sketch.
